Pink Goodness Smoothie Bowl
Jump to RecipeI don't know about you, but I could eat smoothies or nice cream all day long. I love them! They are easy and quick to make and let's not forget how delicious they are. You can play with so many flavours by adding different fruits and greens. This is a perfect meal-to-go, on those busy days. Here we have a very simple but incredibly delicious thick smoothie full of vibrant colours and tons of nutrients. It's made with only 3 ingredients, bananas, pink dragon fruit and mango.
*Pink Dragon fruit is high in antioxidants, Vitamin C, B, fibre and it contains prebiotic.
*Bananas on the other hand are also high in antioxidants, fibre, rich in B6 and are a good source of vitamin C manganese and magnesium. The perfect food for after a workout.
*Mango is one of my favourite fruits and there is a reason for it. It helps in digestion because they contain enzymes that aid in the breakdown and digestion of proteins, and of course fibre, which keeps the digestive tract working efficiently.
Pink Goodness Smoothie Bowl
Yield: 1-2
Total time: 3 min
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe frozen bananas
- 1 Tbsp red pitaya powder (dragon fruit)
- 1 fresh mango or 1/2 cup frozen
- 1/2 cup water
Direction:
- Combine all ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more water if needed until your desired consistency is reached.
- Top with your favourite fruits or any toppings of your choice. Here I had frozen strawberries, cranberries, tangerines and puffed quinoa
Tips:
- If using a high speed blender you can use less water if you want the smoothie to be more like ice-cream consistency.
