Oat Tortillas
Makes 4-6 depends on the size you make
Prep time: 5 min
Cook time: 20 min
Total time: 25 min
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole roll oats (I use Farmers We Know Brand)
- 2 cups water cold (depends on the oats you are using, you might need more water or less start with 1 1/2 cups if not using my oats)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp all-purpose seasoning (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your non-stick pan to medium-high. I had my heat on number 7 but every stove is different.
- Place all the ingredients in the high-speed blender, and process until well combined and smooth. If you find that it's too thick you can add more water by tbsp. You don't want the batter to be too thin.
- Pour 1 cup of batter into a pan and spread with the back of the spoon or tilt from side to side to the desired size.
- Cook for 2 min, then flip with a spatula and cook for an additional 2 1/2 minutes.
- Remove and enjoy.
Tips:
- I recommend to separating them with parchment paper so you can freeze them. Defrost them in the skillet or microwave. They last in the fridge for up to 5 days if tightly wrapped.
- You can use oil if you would like them to be more crispy.
- You can use 1/2 to make them smaller or 1 cup of batter to make them bigger.
