Celery Juice

Jump to Recipe

Celery juice has been my morning drink for the last 3 years. I first heard of drinking plain celery juice from Anthony William. In his books, he says that drinking straight-up celery juice every morning on an empty stomach will help to heal several conditions. Research shows that celery contains 2 very powerful antioxidants called apigenin and luteolin, that reduce inflammation and also may help to treat many inflammatory conditions.

Celery Juice can be made in a juicer or high-speed blender. Below you will find how to make the recipe in a high-speed blender.

Celery Juice

Yield: 1
Total time: 10 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole stalk Celery

Directions:

  1. Wash your celery very well.
  2. Cut into small pieces so it’s easier for the High-speed blender to work through.
  3. Put all the cut-up celery into a high-speed blender and turn up to the high setting and push it down with the temper.
  4. Blend until it looks like a puree.
  5. Once done strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth and squeeze all the juice out until the pulp looks dry.
  6. Enjoy immediately on an empty stomach.

Tips:

  • For the best optimal health benefits, it is recommended to drink celery juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
  • Celery Juice cannot be mixed with anything else, no water, no lemon just celery.
  • If you have lemon water first thing in the morning then wait about 30 minutes before you have celery juice.
  • After drinking celery juice wait 30 minutes before you have your breakfast. That is Anthony William's recommendation.
